Mangku Sakti Waterfall

Mangku Sakti Waterfall is one of the waterfall tours in East Lombok. Lombok is famous for its tourist destinations, all of which are beautiful. When you hear the word Lombok, you always imagine beautiful beaches, but Lombok is not just beaches, there are many other tourist attractions such as hill tourism, history, temples, traditional villages and waterfalls. Lombok has many charming waterfalls, one of which is Mangku Sakti Waterfall which has its own beauty that can attract visitors.

There are many interesting things about this waterfall. In the nearby area there are also many other tourist attractions you can visit. However, the attraction of Mangku Sakti is strong enough to attract the attention of tourists to come to the place first. Apart from the waterfall, the surrounding area is also filled with rivers which have lots of slippery rocks. Then on the edge of the river there are green trees that grow abundantly. There are many activities you can do around the waterfall, of course you can play in the water such as diving or bathing in the river.

1. Has an Interesting History

It wouldn’t be Lombok if its tourist attractions didn’t have a history that made its name famous. The location of this waterfall is at the foot of Mount Rinjani which is famous for its history and myths. Once upon a time there was a Mangku named Titi Kastura who had the task of being a caretaker in the Foothills of Mount Rinjani area. Mangku Gunung itself means Mountain Guardian. He had a Sembrani horse to accompany Mangku Gunung. When he died, local residents found a waterfall at the foot of Mount Rinjani, precisely in the Sajang Village area. The waterfall is flanked by rocks on the left and right. On the left side, there are stones arranged like a face which residents believe is the face of the Mangku. Since then, the place has been named Mangku Sakti Waterfall.

2. The perfect waterfall for relaxing

The location of this waterfall is quite good for relaxing the mind because it has fresh and cool air. Not only that, the surrounding scenery also makes the mind more relaxed. There are many shady places that you can use to relax while looking at the waterfall which is not too high. Not only used to relax, for those of you who want a more challenging entertainment experience, you can try trekking or natural adventure activities because the location is in the hills.

3. Unique Colored Water

Many people are interested in visiting this waterfall because it has a unique bluish colored water. The water is mixed with sulfur material and the waterfall is approximately 40 meters high. Other waterfalls allow you to play with the splashes, but there it is not recommended because the splashes form a large pool measuring 15 meters wide with a depth of 2 to 4 meters. For those of you who want to swim or dive there, there are several jump locations for those of you who want to experience the sensation of jumping from a height. If you’re just soaking, there is also a small waterfall there. Because it is so famous for its challenging entertainment, this location has also been included in nature tourism-based television shows

Gunung Anak Dara Hill is one of many hills that is a favorite for hikers in Sembalun Lawang Village, Sembalun District, East Lombok. The height of Anak Dara Hill reaches 1,923 meters above sea level (masl). There is no doubt about the beauty of the views presented during the trip.

At the top of Anak Dara Hill, visitors can see the sunset in the afternoon and the sunrise in the morning. If the climb starts at 10.00 am the hiker usually reach the peak no later than 05.00 pm. From Anak Dara Hill, climbers can see residential villages in Sembalun.

So, how do you reach the top of Anak Dara Hill?

There are two routes to the top of Bukit Dara or Anak Dara, namely the southern route and the northern route. The distance between the two routes to the top of Anak Dara Hill is not far apart. From the south route it can be reached in 4 hours 30 minutes to a maximum of 5 hours. Likewise if you take the north route

Usually, local climbers travel to the top of Anak Dara Hill on weekends. Anak Dara Hill has the stunning beauty of the savanna.

“At the top there is a large savanna field. So you can set up around 100 tents. If you go there on weekends it will definitely be busy,”

Through the Forest

From the bottom of the hill climbers will find a forest area. Passing through the forest track for approximately 1 hour 30 minutes, climbers will not feel too hot when climbing during the day.

After passing through a forest path with shady trees, climbers find post I above the forest called Tanjakan Sayang. There, climbers can rest for 30 minutes to stretch their legs before reaching post II of the Tanjakan Cinta.

“But there is no spring water above. So you have to bring enough water if you have to spend the night,”

2 Days 1 Night Hiking Crater Rim Senaru 2641 Meters

Rinjani to the crater rim by hiking and trekking The two-day, one-night package departs from Senaru village and travels to the crater rim before returning the following day.

Beginner climbers and those of you who wish to take in the visual grandeur of the Senaru crater rim should both be able to complete this Senaru hiking route program.

Treks Itinerary

Itinerary :
Arrival day: We will pick you up at the airport of Lombok or another place on Lombok island and transfer you to the hotel in Senaru. Meet Your trekking guide will provide guidance to better prepare you for the journey.

Day 1:
Wake up at 6:30 am and get breakfast. After that, we’ll walk 10 minutes to the Rinjani Trek Center Senaru to register.
Trekking Rinjani starts at the Rinjani Trek Center Senaru around 08:00, start to walk through dense tropical forest rich in flora, bird life, and a variety of butterflies. Stop a break we’ll take at Post 2 Montong SATAS shelter (1,500 m) for a cup of tea with some biscuits. After the break continue to trek up for 2 hours to Pos 3 Mondokan Lolak (2,000 m) for a break and lunch.

We will immediately leave Pos 3 after lunch and up to Senaru crater rim (2641m) for 2 hours. Senaru crater has the most spectacular view after the peak. We will enjoy an incredible sunset over Mount Agung in Bali and the smoke from the new volcano on the edge of the lake and camp here for the night.

Day 2:
After breakfast with a beautiful sunrise, we will leave Mount Rinjani and descend to Senaru village through the rainforest. If we are lucky, we can see the rare black monkey. It takes 5 hours and we will take lunch along the way. Arrive at Senaru village (601 m) the Car will take you to your next destination.

Mount Rinjani Summit Trek A two-day, one-night package departs from Sembalun and includes travel to the peak and back to Sembalun.

If you can walk up and down for an average of 8.5 hours every day, you can participate in this program even if you are not an experienced climber.

Treks Itinerary

Itinerary Mount Rinjani Trek to Summit 2 days 1 night :
Arrival day:
We will pick you up at the airport of Lombok or other place in Lombok island and transfer to the hotel in Sembalun. Meet Your guide will provide guidance to better prepare you for the journey.

Day 1:
Wake up at 7:00 am and get breakfast. After that we will register at the Rinjani information center Sembalun.
Trekking start from the village of Sembalun around 8:00 am. We start with a gentle climb through an open meadow. After about 2 hours of walking, we will reach the post 1 (1300m), and another 40 minutes to Pos 2 (1500m). We will continue to Pos 3 (1800m) and have lunch here.

After lunch and rest, we will go to Sembalun crater rim (2639m). It takes 3 hours including a prolonged steep climb. We will camp for the night on the crater rim. We can enjoy the view of sunrise and sunset.

Day 2:
We wake up around 2:00 am under the cover of darkness with a hot drink and a light breakfast. We will start heading to the summit of Rinjani at 3:00 am. We start with a moderate trek, followed by a fairly easy but longer trek. Final approach that involves climbing up steep volcanic scree looser.

At 6:00.am We can reach the summit (3726 m) with a beautiful sunrise, and a panoramic view of Lombok island, the island of Bali, the island of Sumbawa and Segara Anak Lake.

After that, we will descend into the crater rim Sembalun within 2 hours and have breakfast here. Then we will continue to go down to the village of Sembalun, which takes 5 hours to reach, and then we will drop you to your next destination.

Mount Rinjani trek 3 days 2 nights Summit and Segara Anak lake package starting from Sembalun to the crater rim Sembalun, summit, Lake and down to Torean village.

This program is appropriate for experienced climbers or for those who can spend an average of 8 hours each day walking up and down the hill.

Treks Itinerary

Arrival day:
We will pick you up at the airport of Lombok or other place in Lombok island and transfer to the hotel in Sembalun. Meet Your trekking guide will provide guidance to better prepare you for the journey.

Day 1:
Wake up at 7:00 am and get breakfast. After that we will walk for register at the Rinjani information center Sembalun.
Trekking start from the village of Sembalun around 8:00 am. We start with a gentle climb through open meadow. After about 2 hours of walking, we will reach the post 1 (1300m), and another 40 minutes to Pos 2 (1500m). We will continue to Pos 3 (1800m) and have lunch here.

After lunch and rest, we will go to Sembalun crater rim (2639m). It takes 3 hours including a prolonged steep climb. We will camp the night on the crater rim. We can enjoy the view of sunrise and sunset.

At 6:00.am We can reach the summit (3726 m) with a beautiful sunrise, and panoramic view of Lombok island, the island of Bali, the island of Sumbawa and Segara Anak Lake.

After that, we will descend into the crater rim Sembalun within 2 hours and have breakfast here. Then we’ll continue descend to Segara Anak Lake for 3 hours.

We stop at the side of the lake to rest. Here we can enjoy the view of the lake, and swimming in the lake. Bath in hot water can soothe away your aches and pains of traveling and is widely known for its natural healing powers.Our porters will prepare lunch for us.

After the lunch, we will leave the lake and up to Torean crater rim (2241m). Our campsite for the night, Plawangan Torean has the most spectacular view. We will enjoy an incredible sunset over Mount Agung in Bali and the smoke from the new volcano on the edge of the lake.

Day 3:
After breakfast with a beautiful sunrise, we will leave Mount Rinjani descend to Torean village through the rainforest. If we are lucky, we can see the rare black monkey. It takes 5 hours and we will take lunch along the way. Arrive at Torean village (600 m) the Car will take you to your next destination.

Starting near the border of Gunung Rinjani National Park, your route follows old pathways among shady bamboo groves and village gardens before entering a wide, open landscape of rice terraces and palms.

Following a winding irrigation channel you reach the lush rainforest of the famous Sindang Gila Waterfall Reserve. The local people believe that a refreshing bath behind these thundering falls can cure any disease. Along the way, discover tropical plants as your guide explains how the local people make practical use of them. You come across the cheeky long tailed monkeys and, with a bit of luck, may even spot the rare ebony leaf monkey. Passing small hamlets where age-old traditions are practiced, you will gain insight into the colourful village life of the Sasak. There is always something interesting happening here as you meet local people and admire traditional houses along the way.

The sunrise trek from Pergasingan Hill is one of the most well-known things to do in Lombok. It provides the beauty of sunrise and sunset together with the opulent hills surrounding the village of Semblaun that are colored like a carpet of rice and the stunning view of Mount Rinjani that can be seen from Pergasingan hill. In this gentle trekking tour, a local expert will lead you and explain the distinctive local way of life in Sembalun Village.

Due to your brief visit to Lombok, we have recommended these as the finest vacation activities for you to partake in rather than climbing Mt. Rinjani. The spectacular sunrise seen from the east side of Pergasingan hill, the amazing lights from Sembalun village, the lovely Mount Rinjani you will see along the course of your hiking, and the lovely night sky can all be seen from Pergasingan hill.

Pergasingan Hill, which is 1710 meters above sea level and can be reached by hiking for 3 hours up and 2.5 hours down, is situated to the northeast of Mount Rinjani. If you want to spend one night in a tent and take in the beautiful night sky and a roaring campfire, you can have a longer itinerary. Our guide will provide you with hot coffee or tea on this hiking tour, as well as a quick breakfast of some fruits.
